The Sun reported earlier this week that actor Ryan Hawley, who played Robert from 2014 to 2019, will reprise his role for a short stint next month, six years after his departure from the soap.

In his final year on the show, Robert supported his sister Victoria after she came forward about being sexually assaulted by car salesman Lee Posner. In a dramatic turn of events, Robert ultimately killed Lee after the villain denied being responsible for Victoria’s harrowing ordeal.

After being arrested and pleading guilty to attacking Lee before his death, Robert was sentenced to 14 years in prison.

Now, Robert is set for a short return as his ex-husband Aaron Dingle gets ready to marry his brother John Sugden, who has been hiding his own dark secrets, reports Leicestershire Live.
