General Hospital Spoilers and Rumors: A Shocking Twist Ahead — Could Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) Be Alexis’ Next Bad Romance?

As unexpected as it may seem, it appears the ABC soap is exploring the chemistry between Sidwell and Alexis, and he seems to check all the boxes when it comes to her type!

Alexis Has a History of Falling for the Bad Boys

It’s clear when a chemistry test is in play, and GH is definitely putting Alexis and Sidwell to the test. At first glance, it seems like an unlikely pairing. He’s a villain with a criminal past, while she’s often portrayed as virtuous, ethical, and compassionate. However, when you look back on Alexis’ past relationships, it starts to make more sense.

That image of Alexis as the virtuous, upstanding citizen starts to fade when we recall her attempts to cover up her daughter’s violent tendencies, her involvement in past murders, her own shady activities, and the lies surrounding her children’s paternity.

In truth, Alexis is far less noble and righteous than she lets on. She has a clear type when it comes to her romantic interests, which makes Sidwell a perfect fit for her.

The Bad Boy — Sonny Corinthos

The Bad Boy — Ric Lansing

Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), the father of Alexis’ most sensible daughter, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos), is also Sonny’s half-brother. While he’s only half as criminal as Sonny, he’s no angel himself.

Ric has kidnapped Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and held her hostage, married Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) for her wealth while having an affair with her mother, Madeline (Donna Mills), and is currently tangled up in a blackmail scheme.

Despite his shady behavior, his undeniable charm — not to mention his silver fox appeal — suggests Alexis won’t completely cast him aside, even if she doesn’t defend him with the same passion she does Sonny.

Alexis’ First Bad Boy — Julian Jerome

Alexis’ eldest daughter, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), was fathered by the infamous Julian Jerome (William DeVry), a notorious mobster. Julian is the kind of bad boy Alexis has always found difficult to resist.

Not only did he once hold a knife to Alexis’ throat and threaten her life, but his undeniable charisma and striking physique were enough to make her overlook many red flags.

This brings us to an important conclusion: Sidwell seems to fit Alexis’ type perfectly. If she were to deny it, a little reminder of her past relationships would surely bring the truth to light. Even Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore), whom she also dated, was once an enforcer for Sonny.
