Are Sonny And Jason Really Leaving The Mob?
Per the latest speculation, there are some General Hospital viewers who truly believe that Sonny and Jason are about to turn a new page in their lives.
And when they do, there’s no doubt that life in Port Charles will never be the same. After all, Sonny was the one who controlled the streets for so many decades with Jason by his side as his sidekick.
Of course, General Hospital fans on the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some even took to social media to weigh in with, “I don’t think so, because I don’t think that the writers can imagine a Port Charles without the mafia anymore.”
“They would have to focus on the hospital and compelling storytelling again, and I think they’re mostly incapable of doing that. We get bits of good storylines dangled in front of us, but then they’re dropped, and the focus is always on Sonny and the mafia again.”
Is Gio Going To Take Over?
Another fan of the show wrote, “Not until both actors retire in real life. They’ll try to get out, but will be pulled back in.”
“But the idea hit me Friday after the big Gio revealed that Gio, being Sonny’s grandson, might be the one to eventually take over his business.”
And then there was this comment as well: “If they do…I just hope they do the story justice after all these years. As of now…this whole political angle with the esplanade is boring.”
“I’d like to see Sonny mentor whoever might take over for him and for there to be a high-stake final mob war that Sonny must help his mentee undergo…which also puts Sonny in more danger than he’s ever been in…both in regards to getting killed and being finally being caught.”
It goes without saying that General Hospital fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.
