General Hospital spoilers and rumors hint that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) might be the one stalking Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and her newborn daughter, Daisy Gilmore-Corinthos (Levi Clark Coughlin).
Is she planning to abduct the baby and demand a ransom that could set her up for life—just like Gladys never seems to have enough?
Sonny Forced Gladys Out of Town
Fans will recall that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) drove Gladys out of town after discovering she was working with the shady Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder).
Following Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) death at the hands of The Hook, Sasha has been struggling to cope with both his loss and the death of their baby, Liam Mike Corbin (an uncast infant).
On top of that, she’s been battling drug addiction triggered by the late Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), while Brando managed her finances.
After Brando’s death, Gladys took over guardianship and was gambling partners with Montague. She squandered Sasha’s money and had her committed to a facility, but Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and others rallied to rescue Sasha.
What If Gladys Is the Stalker?
Many GH fans believe the person stalking baby Daisy might actually be Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), who could be struggling with a split personality.
There are also rumors that Erika Slezak from OLTL will return as Viki Buchanan—an iconic character known for dissociative identity disorder—to aid Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) former partner.
Additionally, some hints suggest she might play Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) sister, which opens the door for an even darker storyline.
But what if the true stalker is actually Gladys, Sasha’s ex-mother-in-law, who’s fallen back into serious gambling debt and is in over her head?
Gladys Never Learns Her Lesson
Gladys isn’t one to learn from past mistakes. If she finds out that Sasha has welcomed a new heir to the Quartermaine and Corinthos legacy, she might see the baby more as a money-making opportunity than a blessing. Before long, she’d be back to living it up with champagne in hand!
We suspect Gladys may be plotting to kidnap the child and demand a large ransom from Sonny and Michael.
But this begs the question: why didn’t she take the chance to grab Daisy when she had it? Instead, she just fiddled with the baby’s musical mobile.
Was she interrupted, or was she testing the waters to see if she could sneak into the Quartermaine mansion unnoticed?
