2025 Nurses Ball Round Up
The 2025 Nurses Ball offered plenty of surprises and shocking bombshells – as well as guest-star appearances! Fans were treated to an appearance from George Pennacchio, ABC7 Entertainment Guru, during the week of May 19-23 on the red carpet, enjoying a scene with gala co-hosts, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
In addition, Scott Evans, a television personality who’s known for his Access Hollywood co-host role, was also at the big event. But they weren’t the only ones to pop by!
Welcome To Port Charles, Rory Gibson!
Speaking of the 2025 Nurses Ball, Michael Corinthos returned at the end of the Friday, May 23 episode, as recast Rory Gibson debuted on the soap opera. Gibson is officially on contract with daytime drama, as per the show’s closing credits.
Michael, last played by actor Chad Duell, exited the canvas in January of this year after suffering third-degree burns thanks to being caught in the crossfire of his dad’s, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), penthouse explosion. He was airlifted to a German burn clinic to recover, and now he’s officially back!
Michael shared a beautiful scene with his son, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver), as the young boy had just finished up his big Nurses Ball performance. Wiley instantly saw Michael as soon as he walked through the door, ran off the Nurses Ball stage, and into his father’s arms.
The two proceeded to walk out the door and head ‘home’, much to the horror of Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew.
It’s important to note that fans can expect to see Viron Weaver as Wiley during the week of May 26-30, as he reconnects with his father.
