Emmerdale’s Danny Miller got a playful warning to “keep that to yourself” from co-star Kelvin Fletcher after making a cheeky confession during an appearance on the Off Script podcast.
In the latest Off Script episode, Emmerdale’s Danny Miller couldn’t help but cheekily tease host Kelvin Fletcher.
The Friday show featured Danny, 34, famed for playing Aaron Dingle, joining hosts Kelvin, 41, and Liz for their vodcast session.
It triggered a trip down memory lane for soap fans, remembering that Danny and Kelvin were co-stars on Emmerdale, with Kelvin having played Andy Sugden from 1996 to 2016.
A friendly banter ensued as Kelvin and his wife Liz had prepared an amusing quiz for Danny, where Kelvin noted: “That was 2016 when you officially became a Dingle.”
Affectionately, Kelvin confessed to Danny: “However, I’ve known you for long before then, you’ve always been in my phonebook as Danny Dingle. You’ve always been a Dingle to me!”
Danny jokingly said, “Do you know what the maddest thing is? You’ve always been in my phone as Suggers,” which had Kelvin and Liz bursting into laughter.
Keeping the fun going, Danny added, “I’ll have to tell you off-screen what your cover photo still is — it’s definitely not appropriate!”
Kelvin blushed and warned, “I know exactly what the cover photo is, yeah, keep that to yourself Danny!”
Curious, Liz asked how she was saved in Danny’s contacts, and he admitted, “I think you’re still Liz Marsland!” Kelvin then chimed in, “She’s on my phone as Liz Marsland too!”

Liz laughed at being saved under her maiden name in Kelvin’s phone, saying, “I’m like, why am I in your phone as Liz Marsland? Do you not know who I am?” Kelvin explained it was simply because that was her name before they got married. As Danny’s character Aaron gears up for his wedding to John Sugden on the ITV soap, he remains oblivious to his future spouse’s murky past.
At a recent press event, Emmerdale’s Laura Shaw dropped hints about the upcoming nuptials: “I also wanted to talk to you about today about a wedding that we’ve got coming up that is Aaron and John. I’ve just signed off on those episodes in the edit suite, and they are very brilliant and very exciting.”
She revealed John’s pre-wedding jitters, noting: “What you kind of see there is John’s full of trepidation heading into his wedding, worrying about all his secrets that might get exposed along the way.”
Laura shared details about the unique storytelling approach: “What we kind of get is the wedding kind of plays out across the whole week, Monday to Friday is one day, we’ve got some stylistic fun in there with some nightmares that we see. Potential things that kind of might happen…”

Hinting at drama with John’s ex Aidan possibly emerging from his coma, she teased: “Is he gonna walk in and spoil the wedding? We’ll have to see!”
Discussing another potential disruption, Laura hinted at complications arising if Nate’s body is discovered after John killed him: “When John finds out that the lake’s been dredged and he knows that the body’s going to come up, is he gonna, you know, will he make it to his vows? Is he going to be arrested?”
She concluded with a tease about the lengths John might go to protect his wedding day from being ruined by Nate and Aidan: “It’s going to be good but you know with Nate and Aidan both threatening to ruin the day for John. What length is John gonna be pushed to, to try and avoid that happening.”
