The pair are both facing a challenging battle.
EastEnders star Heather Peace, who plays Eve Unwin, has shared a heartbreaking update about her breast cancer battle, revealing that her partner is also facing the disease.
Just a month after publicly announcing her own diagnosis, Heather has now disclosed that her partner, Ellie, has also been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Heather was first diagnosed in October 2024 and subsequently underwent a mastectomy.

Heather Peace diagnosed with breast cancer
In October last year, Heather was diagnosed with breast cancer after delaying a visit to her GP despite noticing changes to her nipple.
The following month, in November, she underwent a mastectomy on her left breast, along with reconstructive surgery.
Then in June, Heather went public with her cancer battle by posting a video from a wig fitting, as she had begun losing her hair due to chemotherapy.
Sharing her update on Instagram, Heather expressed that she had “picked up her medal” and “seen the finish line” of her cancer journey.
The EastEnders actress wrote: “Since then I’ve had surgery and spent the Christmas period recovering — and today marks the end of my chemotherapy.
“This morning, I woke up and it felt like I’d reached the final stretch of the London Marathon; I’d turned onto The Mall and could see the big clock and the finish line ahead.”

EastEnders star Heather Peace shares emotional cancer update
Just a month after revealing her own breast cancer diagnosis, Heather Peace has now disclosed that her partner, Ellie Dickinson, was also diagnosed with the disease—several months before Heather received her own diagnosis.
With her radiotherapy about to begin, Heather told The Mirror: “Ellie’s breast cancer was a small but aggressive lump, so she underwent a lumpectomy followed by radiotherapy.
“Then I came along with my 12 cm lump—absolutely massive—followed by a mastectomy, chemotherapy, and now about to start radiotherapy.
“She joked, ‘Even that you have to do bigger,’ and I was like, ‘Hold my beer.’”
Both Ellie and Heather have also expressed their gratitude to their three daughters — Annie, Jessie, and Lola — for the strength and support they’ve shown during such a challenging time.
