Maria isn’t very happy.
Coronation Street actor Mikey North has hinted at a difficult path ahead for Gary following his kiss with Lou Michaelis this evening (Monday, June 16).
With Maria growing suspicious about what’s happening between Gary and Lou, Gary’s marriage is at risk.
However, the drama doesn’t end with the kiss, as Gary is set to make a decision he’ll later ‘regret.’

Last week, Maria Connor and Lou Michaelis clashed at the Platt family BBQ after Maria accused Lou of stealing money from Shona’s handbag.
Things escalated when Lou fell through a glass table and accused Maria of pushing her.
This evening, after being arrested on suspicion of ABH, Maria blamed Lou for reporting her to the police.
Lou explained that it wasn’t her who reported Maria, but Brody. After having to deal with social services, Lou visited Sally and Tim, warning them to stay away from her and the children.
Looking for support, Lou turned to Gary Windass and asked him to speak to Sally and Tim on her behalf. He agreed, but then Lou surprised him by kissing him. Afterward, she began to blackmail him…
Although Gary pulled away, Maria suspected he was having an affair with Lou. Gary insisted nothing had happened but started packing his bags. Maria ended up ending their relationship ‘all on her own.’
Coronation Street’s Mikey North hints at trouble for Gary following the kiss with Lou
Now that Lou is blackmailing Gary and threatening to tell Maria he’s been unfaithful—even though he hasn’t—Mikey North has teased what lies ahead.
In an interview with Digital Spy, Mikey said: “Things are only going to get worse from here.
“It looks like Lou might be similar to Mick—there’s more to her than meets the eye. That’s coming up!”
He also hinted at “difficulties ahead,” adding: “I think Gary is going to regret his next move…”
But will Gary and Maria be able to overcome this?
