Coronation Street’s Gary Windass is set to ‘disappear’ from Weatherfield next week, leaving his loved ones worried.
A Coronation Street star has teased looming danger for Gary Windass in upcoming episodes.
This follows new spoilers indicating that Gary will mysteriously go missing, sparking concern among his loved ones next week. Earlier in the week, after initially supporting Lou Michaelis in the aftermath of her husband Mick Michaelis’ arrest for PC Craig Tinker’s murder, Gary began to realise who Lou really is.
On Friday night, Gary’s wife, Maria Connor — already wary of Lou — caught her eyeing the salon’s money while they were at the Platt family’s summer barbecue.
Although Lou ultimately didn’t take the cash, Maria jumped to conclusions, leading to a scuffle that ended with Lou stumbling and falling through David Platt’s prized glass coffee table.

Following the incident, Gary took Lou to the hospital, where they shared a tense glance, while Maria was wrongly arrested for Actual Bodily Harm (ABH) after Lou said her son, Brody, had called the police, according to Belfast Live.
On Monday night, Lou dropped by Gary’s house to thank him, and they shared a drink alone while Maria was out. After memorizing Gary’s passcode, Lou seized the opportunity to send herself an incriminating message from his phone while he stepped away to the bathroom.
Later, Lou tried to kiss Gary, but he pushed her away. She then threatened him, demanding he do as she says or she would reveal everything to Maria.
Despite the threat, Gary challenged Lou to tell Maria since nothing had happened, and he soon told his family he was leaving the cobbles to stay with his mum for a while.

Maria’s suspicions were heightened as she confronted Gary about being unfaithful with Lou, which he denied. Meanwhile, a smug Lou was seen reading the text she slyly sent from Gary’s phone that said: “I want you. When can I see you again?”
As Gary left the cobbles on Monday night, his sudden departure sparked concern. In upcoming previews, a worried Liam tells Maria that Gary has gone missing and hasn’t come back from his visit to his mum as planned, causing Maria to conceal her own fears to support Liam.
This storyline unfolds as Jack P Shepherd, who plays David Platt, teased upcoming trouble for Gary on Coronation Street. Speaking to Digital Spy, the actor revealed: “[Mick’s] still around and causing trouble. I’m somewhat connected to that.
“And then something happens involving Gary. Something bad happens to him. I’m involved in that too.”
