Kevin Webster’s Cancer Deception in Coronation Street

Earlier this year on Coronation Street, fans watched as Kevin Webster was diagnosed with testicular cancer.

His brother Carl arrived in Weatherfield to offer support during Kevin’s treatment, while also standing by Debbie as she faced her dementia diagnosis.

But sparks flew immediately between Carl and Kevin’s wife, Abi, with Carl making every effort to tempt her into an affair.

This week, Kevin came across a message from Carl on Abi’s phone, asking, “How can I get to know you better?”

Although Carl and Abi brushed it off as harmless banter, Kevin’s doubts deepened—especially after discovering Abi had tampered with a car at the garage, seemingly to push Carl away.

After being given the all-clear at the hospital, Kevin chose to mislead Abi, telling her he still needed more cancer treatment.

However, his lie nearly came undone when Dr Gaddas bumped into him and congratulated him on his clean bill of health.

Meanwhile, Abi refused to make any promises to Carl about leaving Kevin once his treatment ends, though Carl could sense she was torn.

But the question remains—how long can Kevin maintain this lie to stop Abi from walking away?

Kevin’s Plan Backfires as Abi and Carl Give In to Temptation

It appears Kevin’s desperate efforts to keep Abi by his side are doomed to fail.

In upcoming Coronation Street scenes, Kevin confesses to Tyrone that he lied to Abi about still needing cancer treatment. With the truth now hanging by a thread, it’s only a matter of time before everything unravels.

So, what does this mean for his marriage? According to The Sun, Abi and Carl’s growing attraction is set to escalate into a full-blown affair. Abi has already told Carl that Kevin getting the all-clear would be the ‘green light’ for them to act on their feelings.
