Coronation Street pulled from schedule due to football coverage

Coronation Street is facing a big schedule shake-up this week as ITV prioritises coverage of the UEFA European Women’s Championship.

As is often the case during major sporting events, soaps are being pushed aside — and this week, Coronation Street is no exception. Fans will only get two episodes instead of the usual three.

Here’s when you can tune in to watch the beloved ITV soap this week.

Coronation Street schedule update – when to catch this week’s episodes

Coronation Street fans are typically treated to three hour-long episodes each week, airing on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings.

But this week, the usual schedule has been disrupted due to ITV’s coverage of the UEFA Women’s European Championship, meaning one episode has been dropped.

You can still watch Corrie on Monday, June 30 at 8pm and again in its regular Wednesday timeslot on July 2 at 8pm.

Episodes will also be available to stream early on ITVX and YouTube from 7am on the day they air.

However, there will be no episode on Friday, July 4, as Germany v Poland will be broadcast during Coronation Street’s usual time on ITV’s main channel.

In this week’s Coronation Street spoilers, Steve McDonald invites Cassie out for dinner at Speed Daal, joined by Sally and Tim. But things take an awkward turn when Tracy unexpectedly shows up.

Later, Steve opens up to his mates, admitting he’s starting to develop real feelings for Cassie. But how will she react to his confession?

Meanwhile, Theo is keen to alert the school about Millie’s supposed pregnancy. However, Todd Grimshaw knows she’s not actually expecting and urges her to come clean.

Trying to offer a way out, Todd suggests Millie take another test and claim the first result was a false positive. But will she go along with his idea?

Elsewhere on the cobbles, Kevin grows suspicious about what’s really going on between Abi and Carl, while Bernie steps in to help Lou and Brody resolve their issues.
