“Coronation Street actor reveals Todd Grimshaw’s future in shocking Theo Silverton plot twist”

“Coronation Street’s James Cartwright hints at looming threat for Todd Grimshaw”

Coronation Street actor James Cartwright may have accidentally revealed Todd Grimshaw’s fate in a “dark” twist involving Theo Silverton.

Todd (Gareth Pierce) first met scaffolder Theo, portrayed by James, in March, and the two bonded quickly.

But it was soon revealed that Theo was already married to a woman named Danielle (Natalie Anderson), with whom he shares two children.

The storyline intensified when Danielle uncovered Theo’s affair with Todd, resulting in his family turning their backs on him.

In addition, Theo opened up to Todd about his past battles with his sexuality, admitting he had been subjected to conversion therapy because of pressure from his devoutly religious parents, according to Leicestershire Live.

On Monday (June 30), Todd was stunned to discover that Theo’s daughter, Millie (Kaitlyn Earley), had fabricated her pregnancy.

Millie deepened the deception by falsely claiming that Todd had encouraged her to have an abortion.

While Theo was initially suspicious of Todd, he ultimately came to see that it was his daughter who had been lying.

Later, Theo confronted James Bailey (Jason Callender) after he drunkenly tried to make a move on Todd at Number Eleven.

“If I catch you hanging around him again, it won’t just be words we’re exchanging,” Theo warned menacingly.

Soap viewers have become increasingly concerned for Todd, as Theo has shown signs of violent behaviour—particularly after the incident at Glenda Shuttleworth’s (Jodie Prenger) drag night last month.

Things seem to be heading in a difficult direction for Todd, with actor James teasing a “dark” storyline for his character during an appearance on Wednesday’s (July 2) episode of Lorraine.

While chatting about the upcoming drama, host Lorraine Kelly remarked: “You can’t reveal too much, but things are about to get a bit dark between you, the love triangle, and Todd.”

James responded: “I think that’s the direction it’s heading. The thing about Theo is that he’s a very complex character. I don’t see him as malicious or as a psychopath or sociopath—nothing like that—but he is complicated.”

“What you come to understand with people who carry emotional baggage is that they don’t really change as they get older. You may want to change them, but you can’t. And if you love them, then what choice do you have?”
