General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that the shocking truth about Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and her scheme to sabotage Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Willow Tait-Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) may soon come to light.
Willow is likely to uncover that Nina was behind hiring Jacinda (Paige Herschell) and that she secretly teamed up with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) to set up the recent scandal involving a drugged Drew — and she may even learn about Drew’s romantic history with her mother.
Could this finally be the breaking point for Nina and Willow’s fragile relationship?
The Drew Cain Complication
Nina and Willow have finally built the connection they both longed for. Willow has let Nina into her heart, and Nina is relishing her role as both mother and grandmother.
However, once either of Nina’s latest deceptions come to light — and in Port Charles, secrets never stay buried for long — Willow is bound to feel betrayed. Once again, Nina has lied, manipulated her life, and deceived her — and this time, Willow may not be willing to forgive.
Willow will be left feeling deeply betrayed by her mother and may beat herself up for ever trusting her in the first place.
It’s likely that Drew will be the one to blow the lid off Nina’s latest scheme, and he won’t hesitate to clue Willow in on all of her mother’s misdeeds. With this fresh betrayal serving as yet another hurdle they’ve overcome together, it will only draw Drew and Willow closer — giving Drew even more influence over her.
He’ll likely encourage Willow to cut ties with Nina for good, conveniently aligning with his own agenda to keep Willow and her choices firmly under his control.
Willow Will Eventually Find It in Her Heart to Forgive
Nina has been down this path before, only to find herself back in Willow’s good graces eventually. If Drew is the one to expose Nina’s actions, and then his own wrongdoings are revealed, Willow may find it in herself to forgive her mother, and Nina will be overjoyed to have her daughter back.
That said, it’s going to be a long journey before this happens, so fans shouldn’t expect a quick resolution. But it’s always a possibility… someday!
