Coronation Street fans are concerned that Jenny Connor’s time on the soap is coming to an end as they speculate about her future.
With Jenny unable to afford buying the pub, it seems like the end of an era. Now, fans fear that losing the Rovers could also mean the end of her storyline on the Street.
Is Jenny’s time at the pub over?
In recent months on Coronation Street, Jenny and Daisy realized they had no choice but to pay Carla back the money they had stolen to buy the pub in the first place.
Jenny thought she’d found a solution and reached out to a man online named ‘Dom.’
After meeting him, Jenny agreed to transfer all the money she had to ‘Dom.’ She invested in his business with the promise that her money would be doubled.
However, after transferring the money, Jenny soon discovered that Christina had been catfishing her. Though Christina was questioned, it turned out ‘Dom’ had taken off with Jenny’s money.
Now, it appears there’s no way for Jenny to hold on to the pub. But what does this mean for her future on the Street?
Coronation Street fans concerned about Jenny’s future on the show
With Jenny likely to lose both her home and her position behind the Rovers’ bar, fans are beginning to question what’s next for her on the Street.
Now that Daisy has left, some fans are concerned that Jenny’s time on the soap could soon come to an end.
On Reddit, one fan asked, “What’s Jenny going to do now?”
They continued: “I’ve been watching on and off since I was very little, and it’s worrying that I don’t really have many memories of Jenny without Daisy. I know she was in it before Daisy, but I always felt Daisy and Jenny were a duo. She’s probably going to have to sell the pub. I do like Jenny sometimes, but it’s concerning that I can only remember her with Daisy, and then when Johnny died in the sinkhole flood. I think Jenny’s doomed unless she figures out where the money really went, but I doubt she will because she has no clue where Daisy went.”
Another fan added: “I reckon Jenny will be next to leave the show. I don’t see much more they can do with her. Her only family connection is Rita, but as Rita’s actress has aged, she’s been seen less.”
A third fan shared: “Jenny’s one of my favorites, so I really hope this isn’t the beginning of the end for her.”
