“A Coronation Street actress thrilled fans by revealing she’s pregnant with her first baby.”

Coronation Street star Melissa Johns has revealed that she and her husband are expecting their first child. The actress, known for her role as Imogen Pascoe on the ITV soap from 2017 to 2019, delighted fans by posting a heartfelt video online. In the clip, a glowing Melissa embraces her husband Dan on a sandy beach, wearing a flowing orange and red dress.
The couple also shared a glimpse of their ultrasound scan on Instagram, along with a knitted toy and tiny baby booties. Written on a mirror were the words “Baby H-J, 2025…” as the parents-to-be smiled in the reflection.
In the caption, Melissa wrote: “Oh baby. We made a wish and it came true… Baby H-J – we can’t wait to meet you. Forever grateful.” Fans quickly filled the comments with loving messages and congratulations.
One fan wrote, “Congratulations! Welcome to the mummy club! So thrilled for you xx.” Another excitedly added, “YAASSSSS!!!!!!! Massive, massive congratulations to you both! What an incredible journey you’re beginning xxxxx.”
A third follower commented, “Awww HUGE congratulations, Melissa, to you and your husband!! You’re going to be an amazing mum!” – complete with heart-eyed emojis.
This joyful announcement comes less than a year after Melissa and Dan celebrated their wedding in a stunning ceremony. Reflecting on the big day, Melissa told The Mirror, “I know it sounds really strange, but what I mean is, I just feel absolutely wonderful.”

.
“I thought it would just be a wedding and a party,” Melissa shared. “But I wasn’t prepared for the incredible shift I felt within myself and in our relationship. It’s such a surreal feeling — like falling in love with someone all over again. It was just beautiful.”
Melissa and Dan tied the knot on October 11 at the picturesque Brinsop Court Manor House and Barn. Calling the day “perfect,” she wore a strapless fishtail gown with a fitted corset.
The actress, who was born with one arm, also reflected, “Growing up looking different from others, I wasn’t always sure marriage would be in the cards for me. People would make comments or question whether I’d find love or get married simply because of how I looked or because I’m disabled. So, for me, our wedding day held a much deeper meaning — it meant everything.”
